Class descriptors

TO ALL TUTORS

 

At the November Morning Tea, I spoke about the importance of having a class description that provides members with as much information as possible. This ensures that those who enroll in classes will understand what they are going to be involved in; what the prerequisites are; and what equipment they need to have. Many of the class descriptions already include this information but as the classes develop a lot of what we say we are going to do or need may change. To make it easier for all tutors a template has been designed with some questions that answer these very important points.

Tutors can do one of the following:

  • Use this template as a guide and then email their new description to me and I will put it in your class;
  • Fill in the template and I will use it to write up a description for you.

Tutors can either leave their information at the May Road office or email it to me on limnataliem@gmail.com

I hope that this information has been useful and I look forward to working with all tutors.
