  • Anti-discrimination Policy (2020)

    This document sets out Whittlesea U3A Inc.’s anti-discrimination policy and the governance structures, responsibilities and processes to give effect to the policy and ensure the organisation complies with its obligations under the legislation.

    This policy aims to foster an organisation’s culture that maximises access to membership and grows organisational performance.

  • Borrowing of Resources Policy (Updated 14/12/2020)

    The purpose of this policy is to document the process for the borrowing of Whittlesea U3A Inc. resources and is subject to change with consultation of Whittlesea U3A President and Committee of Management.

  • Bullying Policy

    The purpose of this document is to outline Whittlesea U3A Inc.’s position on bullying and to document the process for responding to a report of bullying.

  • Code of Conduct Policy

    The purpose of this policy is to document Whittlesea U3A Inc.’s Code of Conduct for members and the processes that will be followed where a breach of the Code of Conduct is reported.

  • Copyright Policy

    The purpose of this policy is to let members’ be aware of copyright regulations for themselves as well as the organisation Whittlesea U3A when downloading from the internet.

  • COVID-19-Policy (9/11/2021)

    The purpose of this policy is to set out the rules relating to COVID-19 that fall within Terms and
    Conditions of being a member of Whittlesea U3A Inc.

  • COVID – Lockdown Policy 2021

    The purpose of this document is to outline Whittlesea U3A Inc.’s process that will be followed as the organisation emerges from a lockdown or emergency situation. The policy, though relating to COVID-19, can be adapted for future pandemics or major medical situations and emergencies as outlined by either State or Federal governments.

  • Grievance Policy

    This grievance policy states how our organisation will approach volunteer grievances, concerns or complaints. It also outlines the approach taken to complaints or grievances about the volunteer or their actions. It is a guide to how to deal with any kind of complaint or dispute resolution.

  • Membership Terms and Conditions Policy (updated 12 October 2021)

    The purpose of this policy is to set out the obligations and Terms and Conditions of being a member of Whittlesea U3A Inc.

  • Policy Risk Management

    The purpose of this document is to identify potential risks to Whittlesea U3A Inc. and its members and to
    document our approach to managing identified risk.

  • Privacy Policy (updated 14/12/2020)

    The purpose of this policy is to set out members’ privacy rights and to document the framework that
    Whittlesea U3A Inc. will apply when collecting, storing and using members’ personal information.

  • Raffles for fund raising Policy (updated 14/12/2020)

    The purpose of this policy is to outline the rules of holding raffles to raise funds for a not for profit
    organisation.

  • Refunds Policy (updated 14/12/2020)

    The main purpose of this policy is to detail the criteria for providing a refund to a member for the payment of a
    trip or event when the trip or event has been cancelled or the member chooses to cancel.
    This policy will also cover the criteria for a refund of the annual membership subscription if requested by a
    member.

  • Selling of goods Policy (updated 14/12/2020)

    The purpose of this policy is to outline the process of selling goods at functions such as morning teas,
    lunches, open days and fund raising events.

  • Sexual Harassment Policy

    The purpose of this document is to set down Whittlesea U3A Inc.’s policy on sexual harassment and the process that will be followed should any complaint of sexual harassment be received.

  • Trips and Events Policy (Updated 14/12/2020)

    The purpose of this policy is to document the framework that will be followed when organising trips and events advertised through Whittlesea U3A Inc. and is subject to change as approved by the Committee of Management.
