    The purpose of this policy isto outline WhittleseaU3A Inc.’s anti-discrimination policy and the
    governance structures,responsibilities and processesto give effectto the policy and ensure the
    organisation complies with its obligations under legislation.
    This policy aims to foster an organisation’s culture that maximises access to membership and grows
    organisational performance.

  • Borrowing-of-Resources-Policy

    The purpose of this policy is to outline WhittleseaU3A Inc.’s anti-discrimination policy and the
    governance structures, responsibilities and processes to give effect to the policy and ensure the
    organisation complies with its obligations under legislation.

  • Bullying-Policy

    The purpose of this document is to outline Whittlesea U3A Inc.’s position on bullying and to document
    the process for responding to a report of bullying.

  • Code-of-Conduct-Policy

    The purpose of this policy is to document Whittlesea U3A Inc.’s Code of Conduct for members and
    the processes that will be followed where a breach of the Code of Conduct is reported.

  • Copyright-Policy

    The purpose of this policy is to document the process for the use of software in Whittlesea
    U3A Inc. computers and classes and is subject to change with consultation of Whittlesea U3A
    President and Committee of Management.

  • Grievance-Policy

    The purpose of this policy is to document Whittlesea U3A Inc.’s Grievance Policy for members and the
    processes that will be followed where a breach of the Grievance Policy is reported

  • Membership-Terms-and-Conditions-Policy

    The purpose of this policy is to set out the obligations and Terms and Conditions of being a member of
    WhittleseaU3A Inc.

  • Privacy-Policy

    The purpose of this policy is to set out members’ privacy rights and to document the framework that
    WhittleseaU3A Inc. will apply when collecting, storing and using members’ personal information.

  • Raffles-for-fund-raising-Policy

    The purpose of this policy is to outline the rules of holding raffles to raise funds for a not for profit
    organisation

  • Refunds-Policy

    The main purpose of this policy is to detail the criteria for providing a refund to a member for the payment of a
    trip or event when the trip or event has been cancelled or the member chooses to cancel.
    This policy will also cover the criteria for a refund of the annual membership subscription if requested by a
    member.

  • Risk-Management-Policy

    The purpose of this document is to identify potential risks to Whittlesea U3A Inc. and its members and
    to document our approach to managing identified risk.

  • Selling-of-goods-Policy

    The purpose of this policy is to outline the process of selling goods at functions such as morning
    teas, lunches, open days and fund raising events.

  • Sexual-Harassment-Policy

    The purpose of this document is to set down Whittlesea U3A Inc.’s policy on sexual harassment and
    the process that will be followed should any complaint of sexual harassment be received

  • Trips-and-Events-Policy

    This policy applies to any trips and events which are advertised formally through Whittlesea U3A Inc.

  • Tutor-and-Developing-a-Class-Policy

    The purpose of this policy is to:
    1. Document how a member can become a tutoratWhittleseaU3A Inc.
    2. Explain the processes of developing a class/activity within Whittlesea U3A
    3. Explain the tutor fee structure which will commence from 2024 and apply to all tutors
    from this date.
