The Country Fire Authority will be holding an important information session to discuss the recent fire within the Plenty Gorge Parklands.

Disaster dodged as crews keep dangerous Plenty Gorge blaze away from homes

This is an important message notifying all active 2020 members of Whittlesea U3A regarding a community meeting this Sunday at the Plenty Hall (behind the Plenty Fire Station) to discuss the current Plenty Gorge fire. Please attend if you would like to learn more or have questions.

When: Sunday 5th January

Time: 10.30am till 12.00pm

Where: Plenty Hall, Plenty

We encourage all local residents to attend the meeting to get more information on the fire, the recovery and most importantly what residents need to do given the current weather conditions and RISK the local community may face this summer.

Metropolitan Fire Brigade (Yet to be confirmed)
