Richard and Pam’s Three Day Coach Escape April 2014
We enjoyed the holiday on Tuesday 29th April Richard and Pam and members travelled to Wangaratta, Corowa onto Beechworth and Bright. Just in time to see the Autumn tones of Bright and their magnificent gardens.
Warrnambool by train and Coach to Mount Gambier
Warrnambool Escape 2013
November 2013 Warrnambool Escape. 42 Whittlesea U3A member’s travelled by train to Warrnambool and used this as a base to travel around the countryside. The bus trip included a visit to Mount Gambier to see the Blue Lake, Portland, Port Fairy and the surrounding areas of South West Victoria. A visit to a cheese factories, where this photo was taken, was one of the stops where we learnt about cheese making and purchased specialist cheese. Comfortable accommodation, breakfast and great BBQ were provided. The tour directors, Richard and Pam Hall together with Kathy Lizio, Mary Renshaw photographed with many happy travellers.
