Today at the Walking Football Program, Michael Murray and Dianne Germaine from Whittlesea U3A attended. They managed to enrol 18 participants as new U3A members, completing a rego form and paying their $40 membership to participate in the Walking Football and other Programs offered by U3A in 2017. At least 4 others will complete their enrolment next week.

There are already 6 existing participants who are already U3A members.

Michael also managed to appoint a program convenor – Gerry, who has been attending as a participant on a regular basis. With the support of the coaches supported by Melbourne City FC, the program has a healthy future.

The Manager has confirmed that the Mill Park Basketball and Netball stadium is available again for most Thursdays in 2017.

The Program is to run from 10am-12.30pm.

On 11 February, all participants, volunteers, and coaches of the City of Whittlesea (U3A) Walking Football Program, have been invited to see an A league Game at AAMI Park. Melbourne City v Brisbane Roar.

40 free tickets have been made available.”
