Con Constantinou, the Senior Citizens’ Community Development Officer from the Positive Ageing Team for Aged and Disability Services at the Whittlesea City Council has written to Whittlesea U3A.

“Hello everyone,

The Walking Football Program will continue, initially for the  next four weeks, every Thursday 10am-12pm starting 14 July. (Day is subject to available courts at Mill Park Basketball and Netball Stadium).

Discussions with the 30+ participants who attended the program previously and participated in the Young at Heart Games Tournament, indicated that they would be attending the program.

Congratulations on a fantastic tournament. As I stood on the side lines watching, it was amazing to see how everyone’s confidence and skill levels have developed over the 7 weeks.

Attached is a program flier.

For participants, encourage your friends to attend.

Regards

Con Constantinou  |  Seniors Citizens Community Development Officer
